Events and Programs


  • Annual Chamber Golf Classic is one of the most prestigious, anticipated and plain fun golf tournaments in Tarrant County. Played on the beautiful championship courses of Ridglea Country Club, the tourney is a perfect place to entertain clients or reward employees with a great round, contests and prizes.

  • Annual Meeting – A open luncheon meeting held each June where new officers are installed and the annual Spirit of Enterprise Award is given to a local company that has made significant contributions to the development of the community.
  • Area Councils – Throughout the year, the Chamber’s five geographically segmented area councils hold luncheons with speakers addressing timely and important issues relevant to the area.

  • Barnett Shale EXPO - An expo open to the public with more than 100 exhibitors from the energy industry share information about technology, job and business opportunities. (www.barnettshaleexpo.com)
  • Business After Hours – Informal, members-only networking events held at various locations around the area at the end of the business day.
  • Calendar of Events – A two-month look at upcoming Chamber events including luncheons, networking events and other special events.

  • Economic Update - A breakfast forum designed to inform Fort Worth area businesses of economic forces which will impact business performance in the months and year ahead.  Experts discuss defining local happenings, state and national issues and global issues that business executives need to understand whether doing business down the street or around the world.

  • Employment Law - A seminar sponsored in conjunction with Haynes and Boone, LLP covering legal and human resource issues.   Topics covered are driven by current trends within the industry, and experienced attorneys present all topics. 
  • FastTrac - Designed to help small business owners streamline business process, analyze strengths and shortcomings, and achieve more balance in their work and personal lives.
  • Job Links is a monthly two-hour forum for Fort Worth-area employers to present immediate job opportunities to a broad base of candidate providers.
  • Leaders in Business luncheon series – Three times annually, this luncheon meeting connects members with the city’s biggest decision makers. Speakers include presidents and CEOs from some of Fort Worth’s oldest, newest and most respected companies. They forecast the community’s impact on their daily business decisions and vice versa.
  • Leaders in Government luncheon series - Three times a year, prominent elected and public officials discuss critical issues pertaining to business and the Fort Worth community. Top-level officials who have recently spoken include Congresswoman Kay Granger, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, Senator John Cornyn and Governor Rick Perry.
  • Leads Explosion – A fast-paced networking event designed to maximize business contacts in a structured setting.
  • Leads Groups – Groups of members made up of no more than 30 individuals from noncompeting industries that meet weekly for lunch and an exchange of ideas and referrals.
  • Lunch and Learn - An educational program targeting small business issues taught over lunch at a popular area restaurant. Open to Chamber members only, L&L is also a great networking opportunity.
  • Minding Your Business Mid-Morning – A monthly 2-hour workshop brings in experts who delve into marketing, legal, financial and other issues facing small businesses.
  • Money Works - A five-part series of two-hour workshops informing members about various money matters, including industry, legal and tax changes and their financial implications. Held 9-11 a.m. at Residence Inn Marriott.
  • Small Business of the Year Awards - A process to recognize and honor businesses that have demonstrated “Best Practices” of entrepreneurship such as, sound business planning, fiscal responsibility and work process innovation in operating their business.

  • State of the City - The annual address features Mayor Mike Moncrief, who gives his view on where the community has been in the past year and where we are going in the year to come.

  • State of Education - An annual luncheon featuring the Fort Worth ISD superintendent and will address such hot topics as school finance, and how we can take our schools into the future.
  • Women Influencing Business (WIB) is a new series of programs for all members to ‘bring everyone to the table’ and highlight the increasing impact that women owned and operated businesses have upon the local economy.

  • Vision Fort Worth - The Fort Worth Chamber has formed a new Young Professionals program geared toward YP's looking for ways to enhance their careers, forge new relationships and establish themselves as potential community leaders. (www.visionfw.com)
