BASIC FUNCTION:
The Director of Investor Relations is an organizational leader who establishes and manages strong relationships between the Fort Worth Chamber and its investor community. The Director supports the Fort Worth Chamber Leadership, as well as the Invest Fort Worth initiative, in a management capacity. They will help lead our strategy and revenue growth plans that ensure the Chamber’s long-term success. The ideal candidate is equally adept at building strong relationships, securing financial commitments, and managing existing membership and revenue targets.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Member Communication: Focus on top membership level engagement. Create communication cadence for retention. Assess and modify benefits for value as a result of relationship feedback. Address and assist with top level members issues and requests.; Receive, analyze, and report feedback.
- Sponsorship Management: Sell and fulfill all sponsorships. Communicate with Investors regarding sponsorship opportunities. Monitor top investor sponsorship credit and other benefits. Maintain records of all sponsorships and engagement. Identify sponsorship opportunities for members. Assist in event budgeting and creating sponsorship prospectus. Identify and give feedback on events and programs
- Event Coordination: Coordinate with departments to organize and execute member events, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
- Database Management: Oversee database for accuracy containing member contacts, engagements, and other pertinent data.
- Other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service or relationship-oriented position
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Membership or CRM database management is required.
- Management and development of a team is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are preferred.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, emphasizing Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Some domestic travel.
- Moderate noise level.
- Some lifting of up to 25 pounds.
