Netty Matthews joined the Fort Worth Chamber in January of 1989 and was promoted to Vice President of Existing Business in 2018, then to Senior Vice President – Business Advocacy in 2023. In her role, Netty works to help create a business environment that will allow local businesses to thrive and expand in Fort Worth. Her favorite part of her job is connecting people and addressing challenges.
Netty studied at Altena College and Schoevers College. She is a board member of the Advisory Board for HSC School of Public Health and Leadership Fort Worth.
Outside of work, Netty is an avid reader – she enjoys autobiographies, detective/mystery novels, personal development and motivational books. She loves to listen to music and can often be found where live music is playing.
