FORT WORTH CHAMBER'S FIRST CORPORATE BRE TEAM TAKES FLIGHT

July 28, 2023

Volunteers are critical as the Fort Worth Chamber focuses on business climate challenges. Members of its Area Boards and Business Retention and Expansion Committee proactively connect with existing businesses to learn how to ensure that businesses stay and grow in Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Chamber proudly announces the formation of its inaugural Corporate BRE (Business Retention & Expansion) Team. This team was formed by John Vallance, Audit Partner for Whitley Penn, and is made up of ten exceptional individuals who will play a pivotal role in garnering feedback from their clients.

As an active member of the Business Retention and Expansion Committee, John Vallance brings invaluable expertise and insight to the table.

“Whitley Penn has seen firsthand the impact of the economic growth Fort Worth has experienced throughout the years and how vital it is to continue to invest in it.” said Vallance, “Being a part of the Fort Worth Chamber Business Retention and Expansion Committee and furthering our involvement with additional team members means representing the firm and its commitment in delivering valuable support, guidance, and innovative solutions that will help achieve and expand upon the vision of a vibrant and prosperous business landscape in Fort Worth.”

The Corporate BRE Team's mission is clear: to engage with clients and gain a deeper understanding of their business climate challenges, subsequently reporting these findings to the FWC. The FWC collects findings, creates reports and helps address the identified challenges (i.e. road conditions, access to talent, infrastructure, etc.).

"We are proud to launch this exceptional Corporate BRE Team.” said Netty Matthews, Vice President of Existing Business for the Fort Worth Chamber. “Their dedication and expertise will undoubtedly drive Fort Worth's economic growth forward, creating a prosperous business landscape. I am confident that with their support and guidance, local businesses will thrive, and our city will continue to prosper."

The Fort Worth Chamber is committed to building three Corporate BRE Teams. By harnessing the expertise and passion of local professionals like John Vallance and Whitley Penn, the chamber ensures that Fort Worth's growth is sustained and that the city remains a great place to do business. If your company is interested in participating, contact Netty Matthews.

As the first Corporate BRE Team begins its journey, the Fort Worth Chamber envisions a future where collaboration and dedication lead to a thriving business community. Together, these teams will play a critical role in realizing the vision of a vibrant and prosperous Fort Worth, where businesses can flourish and contribute to the city's ongoing success.
