Inaugural Chamber Confidential Draws Strong Crowd in East Fort Worth

February 11, 2026

The Fort Worth Chamber successfully launched its new Chamber Confidential Monthly Lunch series with nearly 100 business and civic leaders gathering at Kazadorez Venue in East Fort Worth. Hosted by the East Area Board, the inaugural lunch introduced a new forum for concise, data-driven briefings focused on local business conditions and district-level priorities.

The program featured a range of community leadership perspectives, including a special guest appearance by Congressman Marc Veasey, who shared federal updates relevant to the region. Attendees also heard District 11 and 8 updates from Fort Worth City Councilmembers Jeanette Martinez and Chris Nettles.

Anchoring the program, the Chamber’s East Area Board Chair, Mia Moss, presented high-level insights drawn from four years of business climate data, offering context on trends, challenges, and opportunities facing East Fort Worth businesses. City of Fort Worth Economic Development staff shared their own data and perspective on business development happening in East Fort Worth. Additionally, a public safety briefing from the Fort Worth Police Department and an overview of developments tied to the Poly Main Street pilot program were shared.

Attendees also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Fort Worth Hispanic and Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chambers to learn more about SBE certifications and procurement opportunities with the City of Fort Worth. If you are interested in or want to learn more about becoming SBE certified, you can visit the City of Fort Worth website here.

The strong attendance and engaged discussion affirmed the demand for focused, place-based conversations that connect data, policy, and on-the-ground experience. The Chamber Confidential series will continue monthly, rotating across area councils to spotlight issues unique to each part of the city as well as luncheons on pertinent and timely business-environment topics like AI and other innovations.

The next Chamber Confidential Lunch will take place on March 12 in South Fort Worth, with a focus on the newly formed Carter Industrial Park Task Force. The program will provide insights into the Carter Industrial Park area, recent industrial growth, and collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening one of Fort Worth’s key employment and logistics corridors for generations to come.
