SPIRIT OF ENTERPRISE AWARD
Initiated in 1975, the Spirit of Enterprise Award recognizes local companies that have made
significant contributions to the development of our community. The recipient is selected for
its contributions to the advancement & prosperity of the city, as well as its commitment to
the preservation of the American private enterprise system.
This award is presented annually at the FWC Annual Meeting.
PRESENTING: $15,000 (BNSF Railway)
SUSAN HALSEY EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP AWARD
Named after the late Susan Halsey who served as Chairman of FWC Board in 2013, Susan
Halsey Executive Leadership Award honors leadership excellence in business in the Fort
Worth area. It recognizes presidents, principals or chief executive officers for devoting time
& energy to strengthen & transform the organization they lead.
This award is presented annually at the FWC Annual Meeting.
PRESENTING: $6,750 (Jackson Walker)
VANDERGRIFF AWARD
The Vandergriff Award is presented annually to a legacy individual or organization whose
contributions have & will continue to positively impact Tarrant County on a national scale.
The Vandergriff Award was established in 2011 in memory of the late Tarrant County Judge
Tom Vandergriff.
This award is presented annually at the State of the County.
PRESENTING: $5,500 (Simmons Bank)
YP OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes YPs who are trailblazing a path
forward in Fort Worth. The recipient of this award exemplifies leadership in their industry,
organization, and/or community.
The award is presented annually at the YP Summit.
